Aroma House Miami
A Little Luxury,
Everywhere
Hand-poured room sprays, soy wax melts and soy wax candles, made in small batches in Miami Beach.
Our story
It started with a hotel room
There's a moment when you walk into a good hotel and the air tells you something before anyone says a word. You put your bag down. Your shoulders drop an inch. You're somewhere else now.
We started Aroma House because that feeling never made it home with us. You can buy the robe. You can buy the sheets. But the thing you actually remember about a room isn't something anyone sells you on the way out.
So in January 2019 we started making it ourselves, at home in Miami Beach. It began as a family conversation and turned into a lot of wax. We got one scent right, then another, and eventually it stopped being a hobby.
Today there are eighteen scents across three formats, plus a five-piece collection built entirely around hotel suites. Every one is still poured, labeled and boxed by us, in batches small enough that we know which came from which pour.
We're Lara and Chris — married, and co-owners of all of this. We're not a big company. That isn't a limitation we're apologizing for; it's the reason the products are what they are. When you email us, you get us.
What we make
Three ways to scent a room
Same fragrances, different behavior. Most people end up with two of the three, for different rooms and different moments.
Room & Linen Spray · $18
An instant reset. Mist into the air or lightly onto linens, upholstery and curtains — the fastest way to change how a room feels. 100 ml / 3.4 fl oz.
Soy Wax Melts · $12
A slow build. Drop a cube into a warmer and the scent layers up over an evening rather than arriving all at once. No flame, no soot. 3 oz / 85 g, approximately 50 hours of aroma throw.
Hôtel d'Aroma Candles · $25
Light, warmth and scent together. Premium soy wax, 100% cotton lead-free wick, hand-poured in the USA. 9 oz / 255 g, approximately 50 hours of burn time.
The collection
Hôtel d'Aroma
Check in. Breathe out.
Five candles, each built around a different kind of stay — the bright morning suite, the dark hotel bar after midnight, the beach club at four in the afternoon.
South BeachLemon · Green Tea · MuskOcean air and warm skin. Orange and lemon open bright and sunlit, softened with coconut; green tea, lemongrass and jasmine carry the middle; amber and soft musk finish it.
Zen SuiteWhite Tea · Lily · SandalwoodYour room, your retreat. Crisp white tea and aloe open it; ginger and lily add botanical warmth before it settles into sandalwood, cedarwood, amber, vanilla and musk.
Sunrise SuiteMelon · Lily · OakmossWake up somewhere beautiful. Sparkling lemon and juicy melon, then lily and jasmine at the heart, then raspberry, earthy oakmoss and soft musk.
Suite 540Bergamot · Jasmine · AmberModern luxury with real warmth. Bright bergamot and berry give way to jasmine and lily, then rich amber, musk and deep oud.
The OneLeather · Sandalwood · VetiverMiami after dark. Leather and cardamom open bold, lifted by lemon; sandalwood, cedarwood and cinnamon at the heart; vetiver, musk and iris underneath.

How it's made
Small batch, by hand
Nothing here is made in volume. Every batch is poured in our home in Miami Beach, cured, labeled and packed by the two of us — which is slower and more expensive than the alternative, and is the whole point.
Small batches mean we can pull a pour that isn't right instead of shipping it. They also mean scents can vary slightly between batches, the way anything hand-made does. We'd rather that than perfectly identical and made by nobody.

Getting the most out of it
How to use them
Most complaints about home fragrance are really about how it was used. Ninety seconds here saves the product.
Sprays Shake first. Mist into the air or lightly onto fabric from about a foot away. Test an inconspicuous corner before spraying anything delicate, and keep it off skin, finished wood and polished stone.
Melts One cube at a time. Add a second only if you want it stronger. Melts fade rather than burn away — when you stop noticing the scent, the cube is spent even though it still looks like wax.
Candles On the first burn, let the wax reach the edge of the jar, usually two to three hours. Wax has a memory, and a short first burn leaves a tunnel for the life of the candle. Trim the wick to about a quarter inch before every burn, never burn more than four hours at a stretch, and stop when half an inch of wax remains.
